Is it brave or stupid to wear large hoop earrings when caring for a 7 month old?

Stupid. Blood-ouch-wicked stupid, in fact.

Ouch!! My youngest is two and a half, and I just now started to wear my hoops again - and I'm still nervous about it! Hope you're okay!!

Don't worry, I'm OK. It was just a little blood, a medium amount of ouch and a boatload of stupid.

I didn't have pierced ears when the boys were small, so this was my first brush with Split Earlobe Syndrome. Won't be happening again, that's for sure!
