Still a Rookie, After All These Years
I'm over at DotMoms today. Please click the link below to read this post. Have a great Saturday!
My son, Ben, recently turned 7. Standing in the kitchen the morning before his birthday, he said, "Mom, I used to call you Mama, but now I call you Mom."

All day yesterday, my son referred to me as "mom" rather than "mama." He is three. And he has a speech delay, so it's not like he's a precocious, verbally sophisticated three-year-old. So, yeah - when he started saying things like, "Can I have a pickle, mom?" it made my head spin all the way around.

Great post. Sweetie calls me Mom most of the time now, and she's only 4! I just love it when she reverts and slips in the occasional "mama".
I do love DotMom! I may be interested in submitting some of my own writing to that editor. Do you mind emailing me so I can ask you some questions? sbmoms@gmail.com. Thanks so much!
