You know you have a toddler if...

You notice your child painting your purple bathroom wall with toothpaste, and you're glad she's found something to do so you can finish blow drying your hair.

Hey, at least she wasn't eating it.

  • Sometimes I really feel as though you are sneaking into my house at night and writing about my life.

    Thanks for the laugh today!

  • This reminds me of the same sort of relief I felt while watching my toddler unwrap tampons and dip them in the sink.

I got to shower undisturbed that day. Priceless...

  • Uninterrupted bathroom time is SOOOO rare!

Boxes of band aids are good distractions, too. ;)

  • Oh, that is too funny, and I have soooooo been there!!

  • Bingo. She's not bleeding, she's not causing others to bleed. And toothpaste on the wall? Well...there are worse messes to clean.

    Right?

    Right.

In the name of dry hair,
    Paige

  • And there was the time when my now 16 yr old came into the bathroom with me and closed the door. I told her that I wanted privacy. "That's ok, Mommy," she said with a grin. "I came in so we could have privacy together!"

  • too funny! A few years ago whenever I wanted to TRY to put on makeup or something in the bathroom I would give the little guy a can of shaving cream and a cookie sheet and let him make a huge mess.

It was so fun to watch and I could actually put mascara on without poking myself in the eye!!
