I have blog laryngitis. Lots of things swimming around in my head, but not enough spunk to get them onto the page, out into the light. I'm going through a lot of personal changes this summer. Unbloggable, but not unbearable. All good. But, along with the kids, it's taking all my energy and focus.
Rather than blogging, here's a glimpse of what I've been doing:
• Laundry
• Dishes
• Grocery shopping
• Going for walks
• Lifting weights
• Trying, unsuccessfully, to talk my 7 year old into homeschooling (I'm willing to force the issue depending on how 2nd grade goes)
• Going to the beach
• Going to every park on the North Shore (there are lots)
• Going to the library
• Reading Charlotte's Web to the kids
• Reading every magazine I've purchased in the last two years (not really, but close)
• Reading (and enjoying) Becoming Fearless
• Hunting for locally grown vegetables (I dropped out of the co-op last year and couldn't get back in)
• Hunting for a Wordpress template
• Filling up the pool/setting up the sprinkler
• Applying sunscreen
• Applying bug spray
• Picking up all the crap that infests every surface of my house
• Again
• And again
• Trying to get my husband used to the idea of a fourth baby ("Well, if we get a season pass to Water Country for next year, I won't be able to use it because I'll be pregnant." *grin*) (that's me grinning, not him)
• Giving my niece all my baby stuff while telling her I may get pregnant again (man, I can be an ass) (just give me $200 and a WalMart! that's all I need!)
• Schlepping kids to the speech therapist and the doctor
• Going to library book sales (like I need more books)
• Writing in my kids' journals
• Enforcing quiet time
• Becoming a Scribbit groupie
• Learning the ways of the Webkinz (one each, that's my rule)
• Deciding to buy a treadmill
• Deciding to join a gym instead
• And back
• And forth
• Feeling nauseous about the $10,000 fence we're having installed (contracters, why do you all hate me?)
• Potty training my 2 year old
• Watching movies, both of the kidlet and the adult variety
• Joining writing groups, networking (a bit), chasing down payment from clients, signing up for seminars (OK, one seminar)
• Cooking (!)
• Taking my vitamins
• Eating corn on the cob and tomatoes (it never gets old)
• Fighting with my 7 year old when it's time to stop playing his favorite computer game: Star Wars Legos (damn that game!)
• Dropping stuff off at the Salvation Army
• Not wearing make up
• Not blow-drying my hair
• Becoming a better mom
• Enjoying my kids
• Wishing time would stand still

It's amazing how much one can do when one does not blog. Impressive list!
That is an awesome impressive list. I feel inspired. And as a sidenote, I love library book sales. Can't get enough of em.
Some of us never wear make up nor blow dry our hair. Takes too much time. You've had a busy month! Sounds like you've been making good use of your time as well.
Pshaw...you call that a list? LOL! The life of a woman, eh?
Great list!! I know the crap around the house you are talking about!! And - like you - its an again, again, again thing!! That is too funny about the 4th baby and grinning about the Water Country pass!! I laughed out loud on that one. My friend is in the same situation, but she won't be able to do her trip with the in-laws next summer (insert grin on her part!)
Love your blog!!

Wow, with that list it's a wonder you have time to sleep let alone blog. Being a mom is the best job in the world, but Man it sure keeps you busy.
That's a great list...
Here is some new ideas!...(smile)
answering the phone, checking email, cooking dinner, and hoping that everyone DID brush their teeth...
LOL!
At the beginning of the list, I was thinking, "That sounds a lot like the list of reasons, I haven't been blogging as much", then I scrolled down and realized, "No, she has actually got a lot of things on her list that I haven't been doing. Many of them that will give her much more to show for her time." So, anyway, that is my way of saying, "You have been very busy, Good for you! and, well, I can relate."
